More About Video Blogging

Music and the internet come together each year in Austin, Texas, for the important South by SouthWest Conference.  This year’s conference has just concluded — and one of the featured panels discussed music and video blogging, an emerging major trend on the internet.

As a follow up to yesterday’s post featuring Tek Castro’s video blog about blues, here’s an interview with one music vlogger, who shares his insights.  If you would like to join the vlogger-sphere covering blues in its many manisfestation around Asia, we’ll be happy to share your work with our readers.

Thomas "Tomcat" Colvin is an American expat, residing in Manila since 1986. He is best known in the Philippines as the harp player with LAMPANO ALLEY [now in hibernation], with lots of videos on YouTube. Google will also tell you more than you want to know about him. Currently, he is the administrator of the Blues Asia Network. And he flies around Asia tooting his harp.
