Adrian Adioetomo: Magic Fingers

Adrian Adioetomo is a genuine blues legend in Indonesia, and his fame has spread well beyond the country’s borders.  He is a master at blues finger-style guitar; his abilities are truly world-class.

He has announced that he will be playing Monday night at Largo, Benda Raya 7a, Kemang, in Jakarta.  The event is billed as Monday Madness Blues Special.  Adrian will be joined by other Jakarta blues musicians, and the evening will be capped off with a jam session.  To give you some idea of his popularity, within hours 95 people responded to the Facebook Event Annoucement that they would be attending.

Just by chance, a performance by Adrian only a week ago at the Jambodroe Cafe has been posted to YouTube.  Take a look and listen, and you will get a flavor of just what magic Adrian can pluck from his guitar.  For much information, check his MySpace website.
