BLUES ASIA TV: Episode 2.1
Blues from corporate Australia to traditional Vietnam
*****
Thanks for the amazing reception our first episode of on-demand TV received last week. We’ve met new friends and have obtained new, very up-to-date video to share with you.
Our first segment this week takes us from Sydney’s corporate center at Martin Place to a traditional theater in Vietnam in search of the blues. We also check into the blues scene in Singapore. This segment underscores the cross-border exchanges going on in Asia’s blues scene, an activity largely unknown to the world. We want to see even more of that.
ADVANCE ALERT: On November 6, our guest will be Gerry Diwa, blues bassist, record producer and videographer. He will share tips on how bands can produce good quality video inexpensively, an increasingly important skill in today’s media-conscious world.
SHOW CONTENTS:

WELL, THAT’S IT for this segment. More to come later in the week.
If you have a blues band with Asian connections — or are a fan who loves a special blues band — and there is good quality video, please let us know. Leave us a comment below to bring the band to our attention. Other comments welcome as well.
YES, THE BLUES IS ALIVE AND WELL IN ASiA & THE PACIFIC!
