BLUES ASIA TV: Episode 5.2
SPOTLIGHT on JAPAN, plus a glimpse into the Himalayan Blues Festival.
Again, we feature some video shot only within the past few weeks. And we’ve made yet more new friends. I particularly enjoyed online communication with “Weeping Harp” Senoh of Japan, who has been a major figure in the Japanese blues scene for over 40 years. And following our focus on Australia in a last segment, we have established a warm friendship with Cath Butler — and you’ll be hearing a lot more about her starting in January.
The BLUES ASIA NETWORK is indeed growing. This week we met up with globe-trotting music producer John Ferreira, who is intrigued by the music scene in Asia. In fact, he’ll be our guest on our next show — which will be a MUST-VIEW show for anyone remotely interested in the future of music in Asia.
YOU can do your part to spread the word about the blues scene in Asia. SHARE THIS VIDEO with your Facebook friends. The success of our effort really depends on you, the viewers.
